Pitman Fourth of July Parade 2017

What:  Pitman Fourth of July Parade
Who:  Cub Scouts
When: Tuesday, July 4th 9:30AM

All scouts set-up on Columbia Avenue, which is the 3rd Divisions - Position 3.5.

The parade starts at 9:55am, so scouts should be there no later than 9:30am.

Scouts should wear Class B uniforms (pack tee-shirts).

Scouts can ride and decorate bikes, but they MUST have a helmet.

Be sure to bring water and sunscreen.

The parade ends at the Pitman Methodist Church on Lambs Road.

More information from the parade organizers:
  • All participants will need to be dropped off on Highland Terrace and walk to their positions. (DO NOT STOP ON WOODBURY ROAD to drop off parade participants.)
  • Non-participating vehicles may park on the streets on the west side of Highland Terrace, in the rear of the Bright Beginnings parking lot on Lambs Road or on the streets on the east side of Woodbury-Glassboro Road where parking is permitted.  PLEASE DO NOT PARK AT THE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH.
  • Please note – THROWING OF CANDY OR OTHER OBJECTS IS PROHIBITED.
  • The parade will END INSIDE THE PARKING LOT OF THE METHODIST CHURCH at Lambs Road.  DO NOT UNLOAD OR STOP IN THE STREET.  You must pull into the parking lot as far as possible before stopping and unloading.  Port-a-Pots and water will be available for you there.
