Our Goals

Webelos is a 20 month program for 4th and 5th grade boys to prepare to join a Boy Scout troop while learning outdoor skills and participating in 20 different activity badges. A well-run group of Webelos is a gradual change from being an 'adult-run' den to being a 'boy-run' patrol ready to fit right into an adventurous scouting troop.

Summary

The Webelos program has two major milestones - the Webelos rank badge to be earned at the 4th grade level and the Arrow of Light to be earned at the 5th grade. The final part of Webelos is bridging over into a Boy Scout troop selected individually by the scout.

  • Welcome Webelos of Den 7
    Dear Parents,
     
    Welcome to the year of the Webelos. Our year begins now.
    With this new year comes a new way of communicating.
    Effective Monday, September 17th, all communications pertaining to Mantua Pack 45 activities will be posted to the pack website at pack45mantua.org.
     
    You will receive an initial transition email with all upcoming events. As I become more efficient with this process, the emails will go away and you will be asked to access the pack website for all activities and calendar items.
     
    I hope that everyone had a wonderful summer, and look forward to seeing you and your scout at our first den meeting on Monday, September 17th at the Gloucester County Library in Mullica Hill (Room B) at 6:30 pm.
